Daylily Series

My mom has a large daylily collection. When my parents had to move unexpectedly a few years ago, the daylilies weren't in bloom so they kind of got mixed up in the move. They are planning to move again soon so my mom wants to try to get labels on all her daylilies so she can group them by color. I'm helping her out. I'm taking photos of all the varieties and giving them numbered tags. I've taken quite a few photos of all 29 varieties. I'm posting my favorites of these photos on dA. You can see them all together in this journal. All are available as prints

Thank you again, Lisa, for featuring some of my Daylily photographs. As you, most of these were taken from my Mom's Daylily collection.

Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue

A large number of my rabbit photos were taken at my friend Wendy's house. She started Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue in 2004. I joined as a volunteer after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. We are a no-kill rescue that takes in unwanted rabbits (and other small animals) and finds them new homes. To date we have found new homes for over 300 animals. The vast majority of these were rabbits. We have also adopted out a dozen or so guinea pigs, a few ferrets, and one cockatiel. Here's a picture of Wendy and a baby bunny. Follow the link below to learn more about MHRR.

I'm selling some of my handmade jewelry on Etsy to help raise funds for MHRR. Please take a look and maybe buy something.
